Bases are glass-fibre-reinforced polyester (RAL 7035, V-0, glow-wire 960 °C); lids are UV-stable, transparent polycarbonate (V-2, glow-wire 750 °C). Every model is IP 66 / IK 10, double-insulated (Class II) and rated up to 1 500 V DC / 1 000 V AC at service temperatures from –30 °C to +60 °C, conforming to IEC 62208 and RoHS. Standard kit includes top membrane glands, twin aluminium floor glands, four flat screws for the lid (max 2.1 Nm) and an earthing set; optional hinge set SB-HIN converts the lid to a swing door. Weights range from 1.25 kg (SB-32) to 5.05 kg (SB-64).
